Xero payroll plan launched; for 1 to 4 employees

Xero have now released their “Payroll Only” plan for employers with 4 or less employees.  This is exciting! This plan is released with plenty of time to meet the ATO’s deadline of 1st July 2019 to be registered and start reporting your payroll information.

This new plan will allow the more than 400,000 small businesses with 4 or less employees currently in Australia to be able to comply with the new ATO requirements to report payroll information directly to the ATO each pay period.  Reporting needs to be done online, and this new Payroll Only plan will make that easy and straightforward.

The Payroll Only plan makes being STP (Single Touch Payroll) compliant easy, allowing you to file your salaries and wages, PAYG and Super details to the ATO with a couple of clicks of your mouse.

It will also save you time – making payroll easier with no manual calculations.  Payment Summaries will be a thing of the past, saving hours of time and stress at the end of each financial year.  Powerful reports are available to analyse your payroll.

Your employees can use the free XeroMe app on their phone to apply for leave, submit timesheets and view their payslips and payment summaries in the app.

Xero’s Payroll Only plan will help digitise your payroll as required by the ATO. And as your small business grows, you can at any time move to a bigger plan, unlocking additional features such as invoices, bills, auto-super and automatic bank feeds.
